Prevention and Treatment
The initial products for development are all based on recombinant human surfactant protein D (rhSP-D), and include two products for the prevention of bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD) and one product for the treatment of pulmonary infections associated with cystic fibrosis (CF).
The current, primary development options are depicted graphically in [Figure 1] below. The numbering represents the current development priority. The current plan is to develop Options 1 and 2 in parallel, as funding permits.
