Zelpultide alfa is a first-in-class recombinant protein that precisely replicates the structural and functional biology of native surfactant protein D (SP-D), a protein that modulates the immune response, regulates inflammation and aids in pathogen clearance. This versatile platform technology is engineered to prevent and treat diseases by strengthening the body’s innate ability to control the immune response and inflammation in a wide spectrum of diseases, from inflammatory disorders in extremely preterm neonates to adults with acute and chronic inflammatory conditions.

Mechanism of Action:

Immunomodulation

Regulates TLR4 signaling and inhibits LPS binding and cytokine release to protect organ tissues, thereby preventing excessive tissue damage.
